Cancelling a booking

The rule is the same on every booking and shown again before you confirm.

Until the Helper confirms
Free. Nothing is charged.
At least 48 hours before the start
The eligible amount is refunded, minus the Helpore fee already earned. For a visit in a recurring series that fee is credited to your balance for the next booking.
Less than 48 hours before the start
No refund. The Helper's wage remains payable, because your household is the employer and the Helper kept the time free.

Helpers pay nothing

Helpers never pay Helpore a fee or a commission. The agreed wage reaches them in full, apart from the statutory deductions shown on the payslip.

Clear roles, no hidden costs

Where an employment relationship exists, your household remains the Helper's legal employer. Helpore Admin is optional. Wages, social security contributions, insurance premiums and other statutory employment costs remain separate and visible.
