Why is there no VAT on the wage with Helpore?

Because you employ the Helper directly. A wage is not a service sold by a company, so no VAT applies to it. Helpore's own fee is a service and carries VAT, on the fee only.

Is my Helper insured?

Yes. Occupational accident cover applies from the first hour, non occupational cover from eight hours a week with the same household, and social insurance is registered and paid. Helpore does that for you.

Helpling is a cleaning platform that, in Switzerland, employs its cleaners directly under the industry's collective agreement. Households compare profiles, send a booking request, and Helpling assigns a cleaner. Its published price starts at CHF 42.90 an hour including VAT, with a minimum booking of 2.5 hours, and it covers damage during the cleaning.

Where households feel the difference

Assigned, not chosen

With Helpling: You send a booking request and Helpling assigns an appropriate cleaner.
What it means for you: The person who comes is the company's decision. Profiles help you compare, but the assignment is not yours.
With Helpore: You choose the Helper from verified profiles and book that person. They stay your person, booking after booking.

VAT on the whole price

With Helpling: From CHF 42.90 an hour including VAT, because you are buying a company's service.
What it means for you: Part of every hour is value added tax on the wage itself.
With Helpore: You are the employer, so there is no VAT on the wage. VAT applies only to Helpore's flat fee. The wage goes to your Helper in full.

A minimum of 2.5 hours per booking

Flex: pay per booked hour, a flat Helpore fee of CHF 3.50 on top of the wage, contract, insurance and payslip included, nothing to subscribe to.
Helpore Admin Light: CHF 15.90 a month or CHF 154.80 a year for one regular Helper you administer with Helpore's documents and calculations.
Helpore Admin: CHF 23.90 a month or CHF 238.80 a year, and Helpore runs the whole employment: contract, registration, payslips, source tax, insurance.
A one time placement fee of CHF 29.00 when a Helper you found on Helpore becomes your regular employee, credited against Flex fees you already paid.
Helpers set their own rate, never below CHF 24.55 an hour, and never below the statutory minimum where the work is done. The wage is theirs in full.
