Swiss household employment
Also written: NAV Hauswirtschaft · CTT économie domestique · CNL economia domestica
The NAV Hauswirtschaft (CTT économie domestique in French) is the federal standard employment contract for domestic work. It sets binding minimum wages for people working in private households across Switzerland, and cantons may set their own higher rules. It is not a collective agreement: it applies directly to the employment relationship.
It sets the floor under the wage you agree. Paying below it is unlawful even if the person accepts, and cantonal minimum wages in Geneva, Basel Stadt, Neuchâtel, Jura and Ticino sit above the federal floor.
You are the employer. Helpore prepares the contract, files the declarations and produces the payslip in your name.
