Find domestic work that actually works for you

Cleaning, childcare, elderly care and household help are some of the most in demand jobs in Switzerland, but the way they are usually arranged does not always work in the worker's favour.

Agencies take a large cut of your pay. Cash arrangements leave you with no contract, no insurance and no record. And you rarely get to choose your own hours or your own rate.

Helpore is built differently. Here is what working through Helpore means if you clean, look after children, support older people or help in the home.

You set your own rate, and you keep it

You decide your own hourly rate, based on your experience and the work you do. There is no agency quietly taking a third of what you earn, and your rate does not drop just because a household books more hours. What you set is what you are paid.

Swiss law sets minimum pay rules for domestic work in many situations, so your pay is protected at the bottom, and you decide where above that your rate sits.

You choose when and where you work

You set your own availability and pick the areas where you want to work. You are not assigned shifts and you are not tied to a single household. You can live in one canton and work in another. You stay in control of your own schedule.

This is the part that matters most for your security. Every job through Helpore comes with:

  • A proper employment contract
  • AHV social insurance registration
  • Accident insurance from the first hour

That means a clean, documented, legal employment record in your name. Undeclared cash work in Switzerland leaves you with no social security, no protection and legal risk for both sides. Declared work protects your pension, your insurance and your rights, and the record of legal employment is yours to keep.

You do not have to deal with the paperwork yourself. Payroll and the registration with your canton are handled for you.

What you get for joining early

Because Helpore is launching now, the first Helpers to join get extra advantages that later ones will not. We call them Founding Helpers, and places are limited.

  • Founding status as soon as you join. Sign up, get verified, and you are a Founding Helper straight away.
  • Priority when households start booking. When bookings begin in September, Founding Helpers are shown to households first.
  • A welcome pack sent to your home. Once you complete your first 30 hours booked through Helpore, we send a welcome pack to your address as a thank you.
  • Cash for every Helper you refer. Once you have joined, you can invite other cleaners, nannies and helpers you know. When someone you refer joins, gets verified and becomes active, you get a cash reward paid to your account. Log in to get your personal referral link. The current amount and conditions are always shown in your account.

A note on timing and location

Signing up early is what secures your Founding Helper status and your place at the front when work comes to your area.
