How Helpore works for Helpers

What you get as an employee

What the three names mean for you

  • Helpore Admin: a household employs you on a written contract and stays your employer. Helpore does the administration under the household's authorization: your monthly payslip, the social contributions, your yearly wage summary and, where one is issued, your official salary certificate in January. The household pays Helpore for this; you never pay Helpore a fee.
  • Helpore Admin Light: a household employs you, stays your employer and pays your wage to you directly. Helpore prepares the figures, your payslips and a yearly wage summary. The household pays Helpore for this; you never pay Helpore a fee.
  • Helpore Flex: households will book you on Helpore for one visit or for regular visits. Flex is not open yet and opens only once its Swiss licences are in hand. The household that books you will be your employer and will pay Helpore's fee on top of your rate.
  • The household that books you is your employer.
  • AHV contributions are recorded in your name.
  • Occupational accident cover from your first hour.
  • Paid holidays: under a contract Helpore Admin draws up for the household, or under the agreed terms Helpore Admin Light records for it, holidays are paid time off, unless your hourly wage adds holiday pay to every hour instead. Once Helpore Flex opens, holiday pay for Flex visits comes on top of your rate and shows separately on your payslip.
  • Real Swiss payroll gives you a payslip. With Helpore Admin you also get your yearly wage summary and, where one is issued, your official salary certificate in January; with Helpore Admin Light, a yearly wage summary.
  • Helpore Admin and Helpore Admin Light: paid on the household's payout day, the 25th unless you agreed otherwise. Once Helpore Flex opens, Flex visits are paid on the first Wednesday after the visit counts as completed, one day after it ends.
  • Your own gross hourly rate, never below CHF 24.55 in Zurich.
  • You never pay Helpore a fee, and Helpore takes nothing from your wage.
