Swiss household employment
Also written: 90-Tage-Meldeverfahren · Procédure d'annonce 90 jours · Procedura di notifica 90 giorni
EU and EFTA nationals may work in Switzerland for up to 90 days in a calendar year without a permit, provided the work is notified online in advance. It exists for short assignments and seasonal work rather than for an ongoing job.
If the person you employ is working under this route, the days count across all their Swiss employers in the year, not just yours. Once the 90 days are used, a permit is needed before the work continues.
You are the employer. Helpore prepares the contract, files the declarations and produces the payslip in your name.
Per person, across the calendar year and across every employer, which is why an ongoing household job outgrows it quickly.
The work needs a permit. Helpore blocks bookings that would fall outside the window rather than let the household drift into an unlawful arrangement.
